JetBrains' solutions to these issues seem to fall short. Instead of providing actual fixes, they often suggest disabling certain modules or downgrading to an earlier version that works better. This approach can be frustrating and time-consuming, especially when dealing with production software.

The situation has become so dire that even simple tasks like editing a string can lead to 100% CPU usage and constant lagging. It's as if the IDE is struggling to keep up with our coding demands. The quality of Webstorm has indeed decreased significantly over the past few months, with each update exacerbating the problems.

As a loyal JetBrains user, I'm taken aback by this sudden decline in quality. Usually, their products are renowned for their exceptional performance and reliability. However, it seems that something has gone awry during the development process.

In light of these issues, I'm considering returning to VSCode. While it's not perfect, at least I know what to expect from it. The experience has left me wondering if JetBrains is focusing on improving Webstorm or if they're prioritizing other projects over bug fixes.

As iOS users eagerly await the release of PyCharm Professional 2023.1.3, we can only hope that JetBrains addresses these issues and provides a seamless coding experience. Until then, I'll be keeping an eye out for updates and reassessing my decision to switch back to VSCode.
